 In  creating  better  TV,  after  years  in  media,  I  believe  it  is  time 
 to  eliminate  local  over  the  air  broadcast  TV  of  all  kinds,  new  and 
 proposed  as  well  as  old.  Take  all  resources  and  regulation  and 
 redirect  them  to  WEB  to  make  sure  free  public  access  and  quality  is 
 defended  in  this  venue.  Broadcast  is  past  and  a  waste  of  future 
 investment.  The  whole  population  wants  to  see  what  it  wants  when  it 
 wants  and  that  can  only  happen  through  Web  or  Cable.  The  poor  need 
 to  be  included  in  this  and  protection  is  needed.  How  I  leave  up  to 
 you.  Free  Web  access  is  already  advertising  driven  as  was  broadcast 
 TV.  There  will  be  a  transition  period,  but  the  end  needs  to  be 
 anounced.  Digital  over  the  air  TV  should  be  dead  and  moved  to  other 
 transmission  systems.  The  airwaves  should  be  resold  for  cellular  video  use. 
 The  broadcast  industry  will  continue  to  exist  over  the  Web  but  it  will  not  make 
 continuing  sense  over  the  airwaves.
