On behalf of the two referenced stations, each of which broadcasts exclusively 
in Spanish, this will request an exemption, waiver or other appropriate relief 
from the FCC's closed captioning rules.  As detailed in a pending application 
for another TV facility in the DMA (BALCT-20030515AAL), both of these 
facilities are "failing" stations, are cash-flow negative and have just 
recently been acquired by the licensee, WDLP Broadcasting Co., LLC. a 
minority-owned broadcasting company.  Additional data will be furnished upon 
request therefor.
