Peter began his career in England in marine electronics developing advanced navigation aids for commercial ships. He moved to the USA in 1974 to join the Magnavox Marine and Survey Systems division of Magnavox initially to work with a team developing one of the first commercial Satellite Navigation systems for ships and later to develop the first Satellite Communications terminal for the Inmarsat system. He returned to England to work for the Inmarsat Organization where he started the System Development Group responsible for the advanced studies for future development of the satellite system.

Since returning to the USA he has been responsible for business planning and new business development at Magnavox, Magellan and for the past 6 years at NavCom, where he is currently Director, Advanced programs responsible for developing new and innovative uses of NavCom's technology.
