Junior League of Nashville Membership Meeting

Hundreds of women attended the annual Junior League opening meeting in Nashville, Tennessee to hear Commissioner Tate discuss her priorities regarding children and families, including her work with the AJLI's "Kids in the Kitchen" initiative to fight childhood obesity. Other topics included encouraging media and parents to utilize software and other tools to protect children from violence and to improve and update the ratings system; as well as to recognize the "myth of the safety of the internet" and be as involved in your child's online life as you are in their offline one.
