Phase II, specifically addressing and seeking comment on what areas should be eligible for Phase II and
what procedures should govern making a statewide commitment in Phase II.1
The Commission set the comment and reply comment deadlines for the Connect America Phase
II PN as 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the summary of the further notice in the Federal
Register.2 On January 18, 2013, a summary of the Connect America Phase II PN appeared in the Federal
Register.3 Accordingly, comments will be due on February 19, 2013, and reply comments will be due
on March 4, 2013.
