Technology:

On October 5, 2012, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and the Office of
Engineering and Technology released a Public Notice inviting interested parties to update and refresh the
record in the wireless microphone proceeding.1 On November 16, 2012, we extended the deadlines for
filing comments and reply comments to December 21, 2012 and February 19, 2013, respectively, which
were the same filing deadlines for comments and reply comments in the incentive auctions proceeding.2

On November 29, 2012, the Media Bureau, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, and
the Office of Engineering and Technology released an order extending the comment and reply comment
deadlines in the incentive auctions proceeding to January 25, 2013 and March 12, 2013, respectively.3

3.In this order, on our own motion, we grant an extension of time within which to file
comment and reply comments on the Public Notice. We find that granting this extension will serve the
public interest by helping to facilitate careful and deliberate consideration of the complex issues in the
wireless microphone proceeding, and also permit parties to consider and address in their comments any
related issues from the incentive auctions proceeding. Therefore, we grant to all parties in this proceeding
an extension of the comment and reply comment filing deadlines to January 25, 2013 and March 12,
2013, respectively.

Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to section 4(i) of the Communications Act
of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 154(i), and sections 0.131, 0.331, and 1.46 of the Commission’s rules,
47 C.F.R. §§ 0.131, 0.331, and 1.46, the deadline to file comments in this proceeding is extended to
January 25, 2013 and the deadline to file reply comments in this proceeding is extended to March 12,
2013.
