ON THE PASSING OF SENATOR DANIEL K. INOUYE
The following statement can be attributed to Commissioner Robert M. McDowell:"America has lost one of the greatest of the Greatest Generation. The passing of Senator
Daniel Inouye marks the end of an era. His distinguished career in public service touched
countless lives, and his wisdom, kindness, courage, and loyalty are to be emulated by all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, colleagues and the people of the great state
of Hawaii."
