File No.: SES-LIC-20130110-00033
Dear Ms. Tawil:
On January 10, 2013, Corridor Television, L.L.P (Corridor Television) filed the above-
captioned application for a license for a Transmit and Receive Temporary-Fixed earth
station. For the reasons stated below, we dismiss the application without prejudice to
refiling.1
Section 25.112(a) of the Commission’s rules requires the Commission to return, as
unacceptable for filing, any earth station application that is not substantially complete,
contains internal inconsistencies, or does not substantially comply with the Commission’s
rules.2
Corridor Television states, in item E40 of Schedule B to the license application, that the
total effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) for all carriers is 75dBW. Based on a total
input power at the antenna flange of 309 Watts (W) provided in item E38 and a transmit
antenna gain of 48.8 dBi provided in item E41, our calculations indicate that the total
EIRP for all carriers, E40, should be 73.7 dBW and the maximum EIRP for any carrier
provided in E48 cannot exceed that value. Therefore, Corridor Television’s statement in
item E48 that the maximum EIRP is 75.0 dBW is internally inconsistent with the
information provided in items E38 and E41. As a result the EIRP density per carrier
values provided in items E49 for emission designators 25M0F3F and 36M0F3F are also
internally inconsistent.
1
If Corridor Television refiles an application identical to the one dismissed, with the exception of
supplying the corrected information, it need not pay an application fee. See 47 C.F.R. § 1.1111(d).
2 47 C.F.R. § 25.112(a).
Federal Communications Commission DA 13-117
Accordingly, pursuant to Section 25.112(a)(1) of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R.§25.112(a)(1), and Section 0.261 of the Commission’s rules on delegations of authority,
47 C.F.R. §0.261, we dismiss the application without prejudice to refiling.
Sincerely,
