This is an Official Citation issued pursuant to Section 503(b)(5) of the
Communications Act of 1934, as amended ("Act"),1 to Dimond Mini Storage for violation of
Section 15.5(b) of the Commission's Rules ("Rules").2
2.
On October 31, 2008, an agent from the Enforcement Bureau's Anchorage
Resident Agent Office Anchorage Office, in response to a complaint from a licensee concerning
interference on 2305-2315 MHz and 2350-2360 MHz, located the interfering signals, emanating
from a cluster of wireless cameras monitoring the vehicle storage lot south of the main office and
storage buildings identified as Dimond Mini Storage located at 7741 Brayton Drive, Anchorage,
Alaska.

On November 5, 2008 an agent from the Anchorage Office, in coordination with
the technician/installer of the wireless camera system verified by on-off testing, the wireless
transmitters' operation in the 2400 MHz band.

Section 15.5(b)3 of the Rules state "[o]peration of an intentional, unintentional, or
incidental radiator is subject to the conditions that no harmful interference is caused..."4 Dimond
Mini Storage's operation of the suspect transmitters violates this section.

Violations of the Act or the Commission's Rules may subject the violator to
substantial monetary forfeitures,5 seizure of equipment through in rem forfeiture action, and
criminal sanctions, including imprisonment.6

Dimond Mini Storage may request an interview at the closest FCC Office, which
is Federal Communications Commission, 11410 NE 122nd Way, Room 312, Kirkland, WA
98034-6927.7 Dimond Mini Storage may contact this office by telephone, (XXX) XXXX-XXXX
to schedule this interview, which must take place within 14 days of this Citation. Dimond Mini
Storage may also submit a written statement to the above address within 14 days of the date of
this Citation. Any written statements should specify what actions have been taken to correct the
violation outlined above. Please reference file number EB-08-AN-0104 when corresponding with
the Commission.

Any statement or information provided by you may be used by the Commission
to determine if further enforcement action is required.8 Any knowingly or willfully false
statement made in reply to this Citation is punishable by fine or imprisonment.9

Mail and Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested to Dimond Mini Storage, at its address of
record.
