FCC TO HOLD OPEN COMMISSION MEETING

The Federal Communications Commission will hold an Open Meeting on the subjects listedbelow on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The Meeting is scheduled to commence at 10:30

for the Medical Device Radiocommunication Servicein the 413-457 MHz band
SUMMARY:
The Commission will consider a Reportand Order that allocates spectrum in the 413-457 MHz
band and adopts service and technical rules for
Medical Micropower Networks, which rely on new
types of implanted medical devices that use functional
electric stimulation to, among other things, restore
sensation, mobility, and function to paralyzed limbs
and organs.
