MEDIA BUREAU ANNOUNCES FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO THE
ASSIGNMENT OF NONCOMMERCIAL EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION STATION LICENSE
FOR WMFE-TV, ORLANDO, FLORIDA
MB Docket No. 11-75On April 1, 2011, Community Communications, Inc., the licensee of noncommercial educational
television station WMFE-TV, channel *24, Orlando, Florida, filed an Application for Consent to
Assignment of Broadcast Station License (FCC Form 314), pursuant to Section 73.3540 of the
Commission's Rules.1 CCI proposes to assign the station's license to Community Educators of Orlando,
Inc. The application for assignment of license of WMFE-TV has been accepted for filing upon initial
review.2 The Commission reserves the right to return any application if, upon further examination, it is
determined to be defective and not in conformance with the Commission's rules, regulations or policies.
Interested persons must file petitions to deny no later than May 6, 2011.3
In order to foster greater openness, transparency and public participation, we will docket this proceeding.4
All filings concerning the application for assignment of license of WMFE-TV from Community
Communications, Inc. to Community Educators of Orlando, Inc. should refer to MB Docket No. 11-75
and File No, BALEDT-20110401ACW.
