EXPENSES AND OTHER ISSUES RELATED TO THE REIMBURSEMENT OF

BROADCASTER CHANNEL REASSIGNMENT COSTS

On September 23, 2013, the Media Bureau (“Bureau”) issued a Public Notice seeking comment
on its Catalog of Eligible Expenses and other issues.1 Comments and replies were originally due on
October 31 and November 14, 2013, respectively. On October 17, 2013, when the federal government
reopened following a temporary lapse in funding, the Commission released a Public Notice extending the
filing deadlines for regulatory and enforcement filings.2 As a result of the October 17 Public Notice, the
filing deadlines for comments and replies in response to the Bureau’s September 23 Public Notice have
been extended to the dates indicated above.

at 2 (Oct. 17, 2013) (“[A]ny regulatory and enforcement filings that would otherwise be required to be filed between
October 17 and November 4 . . . will be due for filing on November 4, 2013.) Since the comments have been
extended by 4 days, the reply comments are similarly extended by 4 days, from November 14, 2013 to November
18, 2013. See id. at 6-7 (“To the extent the due dates for filings to which reply or responsive pleading are allowed
are extended by this Public Notice, the due dates for the reply or responsive pleadings are extended by the same
number of days.”).
