REGION 6 (NORTHERN CALIFORNIA) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING
COMMITTEE TO HOLD JOINT 700 MHZ/4.9 GHz AND 800 MHZ REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY
PLANNING MEETING
The Region 6 (Northern California),1 700 MHz/4.9 GHz and 800 MHz Public Safety RegionalPlanning Committees (RPC) will hold a joint meeting on Monday, December 17, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m., at the Cordelia Fire Station 1, 2155 Cordelia Road, Fairfield, California.
The agenda for this meeting includes:

Review Region 6 700 MHz and 800 MHz Plans

Review applications
§
Discuss 4.9 GHz NPSTC proposal
§
Discuss officer positions, terms, and elections
The Region 6 700 MHz/4.9 GHz and 800 MHz joint meeting is open to the public. All eligible
public safety providers in Region 6 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that eligible public safety
agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be
represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation
process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with
this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs.
All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in
the 700 MHz/4.9 GHz, and 800 MHz bands within Region 6 should plan to attend. For further
