REGION 47 (PUERTO RICO) 700 MHZ PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING
COMMITTEE TO HOLD MEETING
The Region 47 (Puerto Rico) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee (RPC) willhold a planning meeting on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 1000 to 1600 hours at the Metropolitan Bus
Authority of Puerto Rico located at Avenida De Diego #37, Urb. San Francisco en Rio Piedras (estamos
frente a la Panaderia y Reposteria Los Cidrines). The telephone number for the location is (787) 767-
0115.
The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes:
Call to Order, roll call and recordation of attendance
Review of previous 700 MHz planning actions by Region 47
700 MHz planning presentation and open discussion
Description of planning committee roles and duties
Election and assignment of open Region 47 700 MHz planning committee positions
Review of action items and schedule for next meeting
The Region 47 Public Safety RPC meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety
providers in Region 47 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas
of government, including commonwealth, municipality, county, and nongovernmental organizations
eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 90.523, be represented in order to
ensure that each agency's future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators
who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend,
participate, and represent their agency's needs.
All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in
the 700 MHz band within Region 47 should plan to attend. For further information, please contact:
