The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commissionreserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

SES Americom, Inc. seeks to modify its authorization for the AMC-16 space station to permit reorientation of the space station's Ka-band beams.
AMC-16 is operating at the 85° W.L. orbital location in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 18.6-18.8 GHz
(space-to-Earth), 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 28.4-28.6 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES
Americom does not seek any changes to the gain contours of the space station's Ku-band beams. SES Americom requests waivers of Sections
25.114(d)(14)(ii) and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules in connection with its application.
