The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commissionreserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Intelsat License LLC requests modification of its authorization for the Intelsat 5 space station to extend the license term from October 26, 2012,
through December 31, 2020. Intelsat states that it intends to operate Intelsat 5 at the 65.45° E.L. orbital location in inclined orbit. Intelsat 5 is
currently authorized to provide Fixed-Satellite Services in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925 - 6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.7-10.95
GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.2-11.45 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.75-13.25 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.25

Intelsat License LLC requests modification of its authorization for the Intelsat 5 space station to specify operations at 65.45° E.L. in inclined
orbit, instead of at Intelsat 5's currently authorized location of 169.0° E.L. Intelsat requests authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Service from
65.45° E.L. in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.7-10.95 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.2-11.45 GHz
(space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.75-13.25 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.0-14.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.
Intelsat also requests authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions at 65.45° E.L. using the following center frequencies:
11.451 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.498 GHz and 13.999 GHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat requests a waiver of Section 25.114(d)(3) of the
Commission's rules in connection with its request.

Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List
Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. petitions to add its Satmex 5 space station to the Permitted Space Station List at the 114.9º W.L. orbital location
with a 0.1º station-keeping tolerance. Satmex 5 was previously added to the Permitted Space Station List at the 116.8º W.L. orbital location.
Satélites Mexicanos states that Satmex 5 is licensed by Mexico and proposes to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including Direct-to-Home
service, via Satmex-5 from 114.9º W.L. using the following frequency bands: 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth); 5925-6425 MHz
(Earth-to-space); 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space). Satélites Mexicanos requests waivers of Sections
25.210(a)(3), 25.210(j), and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules in connection with its petition.
