WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS LOWER 700 MHZ BAND
AUCTION EVENT NO. 44
Report No. AUC-44 (Auction No. 44)On January 9, 2004, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau announced that it was prepared to
grant an application for a winning bidder in the Lower 700 MHz Band Auction (Auction No. 44),
provided that the applicant made full and timely payment of the remaining balance of its winning bid.1
The payment deadline was January 26, 2004.
The Commission received full and timely payment, as required by Section 1.2109(a) of the
Commission’s rules, for the application listed in Attachment A. Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we
announce the grant of the Lower 700 MHz Band application listed in Attachment A. We grant this
application pursuant to Section 309(a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. §
309(a), and Section 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 0.331, because it will serve the public
interest, convenience and necessity.
This Public Notice contains the following Attachments:
