Re: SHORT TERM NETWORK CHANGE NOTICE RECEIVED
Telephone Operating Company of Vermont LLC d/b/a FairPoint Communications (FairPoint), an incumbent
local exchange carrier (LEC), has filed short term public notice of network change(s) together with
certification of service on identified interconnecting carriers, as required by section 51.333(a) of the rules of
the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). See 47 C.F.R. 51.333(a). Upon initial review the filing
appears to be complete. See 47 C.F.R. 51.325 through 51.335.
The incumbent LEC's notice refers to the change(s) identified below:

Network Notification No. 45

Installation of Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer or Packet at Remote Terminal
equipment in order to provide (xDSL) services in Vermont.

Planned Implementation Date: May 1, 2011.

An objection to an incumbent LEC's short term notice may be filed by an information service provider or
telecommunications service provider that directly interconnects with the incumbent LEC's network. Such
objections must be filed with the Commission, and served on the incumbent LEC, no later than the ninth
business day following the release of this public notice. See 47 C.F.R. 51.333(c). The effective
implementation date of all changes is subject to the FCC's public notice period under section 51.333(b). See
47 C.F.R. 51.333(b).
Attached is a copy of the notice of network change(s) (total of three pages). The original filing is available
for inspection and copying at the FCC Public Reference Room, Portals II, 445 12th Street, S.W., Suite CY-
A257, Washington, D.C. 20554.
