WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS
BROADBAND RADIO SERVICE LICENSE
Report No. AUC-86 (Auction 86)On October 30, 2009, the Federal Communications Commission completed Auction No. 86 for
Broadband Radio Service licenses in the 2496-2502, 2602-2615, and 2616-2673.5 MHz bands (“BRS”).1
After a preliminary review of the FCC long-form applications (FCC Form 601), the application listed in
the Attachment to this Public Notice was accepted for filing.2 Upon further review, we find that the
application listed in the Attachment is complete and conforms to the Commission’s rules with respect to
the license listed in the Attachment. Furthermore, the Commission has received full payment, as required
by section 1.2109(a) of its rules,3 for the license listed in the Attachment. With respect to the other
license requested in the application, Ztark has chosen to default on its winning bid for that license,4 and its
application will be dismissed with respect to that license. This partial grant is being made pursuant to a
request from the applicant.5
Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we announce the grant of the license listed in the Attachment.
We grant this license pursuant to Section 309(a) of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 309(a), and
section 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 0.331, because it will serve the public interest,
convenience, and necessity.
