Media Bureau – Policy
The Media Bureau develops, recommends and administers the policy and licensing programs relating to electronic media, including cable television, broadcast television, and radio in the United States and its territories. The Media Bureau also handles post-licensing matters regarding Direct Broadcast Satellite service. - Internship Period(s)

Candidates should be law school students or undergraduate or graduate students with an engineering and/or economics background who have an interest in cable television, broadcast television, broadcast radio, and/or post-licensing satellite matters. Fall 2012, Spring 2013. - General Duties
Intern will work on a variety of tasks relating to the redesign of the Media Bureau’s internet presence, including but not limited to analysis of current design and content of the Bureau’s web pages (www.fcc.gov/mb). Interns will have the opportunity to work on coding and graphic design using html and java script and implementing the redesign. - Selection Criteria
Candidates should be undergraduate or graduate students with an academic background in Communications Technology, Web Design, Consumer Advocacy, or Marketing. Skills in web development, coding, graphic design, etc. would be useful but are not required. - Send Application to
