  • General Duties
    FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski is seeking part-time interns during the fall and spring semesters and full-time interns during the summer. Interns will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of communications and technology issues, including:
    • Television, radio, and cable issues;
    • Wireline communications regulation;
    • Wireless and satellite regulation;
    • Broadband;
    • International, spectrum, public safety and homeland security topics.
    Interns will assist the Chairman and his legal advisors in a fast-paced environment. They may interact with industry counsel, consumer groups, congressional staff, and agency personnel on a variety of issues.
  • Selection Criteria
    The selection process is competitive; law students with a strong academic record and interest in communications law (experience is preferred but not required) and a commitment to public service are preferred.
