Judicial Lottery Procedure

The Public Notice below explains the requirements a person filing a petition for review of a Commission order must satisfy to invoke the judicial lottery procedure - a system of random selection to determine which court will review a Commission order when petitions for review are filed in multiple federal circuit courts of appeals.

On January 13, 2011, the FCC’s Office of General Counsel updated the requirements and guidance for litigants seeking to invoke the judicial lottery procedure.
