Sean Lev is General Counsel. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel in January 2012, he served as Acting General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel for Environment and Nuclear Programs at the United States Department of Energy. Before that, Sean was a partner at the law firm of Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel, PLLC, where he specialized in telecommunications and litigation. From 1993 to 1996, he worked as an attorney on the Appellate Staff of the Civil Division at the United States Department of Justice. Sean clerked for the Hon. Patricia M. Wald of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was a Supervising Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and Williams College
