Wireless Telecommunications Bureau - Divisions

Auctions and Spectrum Access Division 

The Auctions and Spectrum Access Division (Auctions Division) is responsible for implementing the FCC’s competitive bidding authority through a fair and transparent auction process.

Broadband Division

The Broadband Division is responsible for developing policy and rules that facilitate rapid, widespread deployment of wireless communications services.

Mobility Division

The Mobility Division is responsible for developing policy and rules that facilitate rapid, widespread deployment of wireless communications services.

Spectrum and Competition Policy Division

The Spectrum and Competition Policy Division (Policy Division) is responsible for developing and implementing sound spectrum, competition and infrastructure policies that promote the rapid deployment of wireless communications services to consumers and encourage competition in the wireless communications marketplace.

Technologies, Systems and Innovation Division

The Technologies, Systems and Innovation Division (Technology Division) is responsible for developing and managing the Wireless Bureau’s information technology (IT) tools, systems and programs.
