Second FCC Form 477 Webinar

September 5, 2014, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM EDT
Online via WebEx

The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau and Wireless Telecommunications Bureau will hold a webinar for the filers of FCC Form 477, Local Telephone Competition and Broadband Reporting, on how to use the new filing interface and other filing requirements. The online webinar will be conducted on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT using WebEx web conferencing technology.

To register for the webinar, please send an email to 477INFO@fcc.gov that includes the email addresses to which we should send the WebEx online registration information. Individuals participating in the webinar will have the opportunity to submit questions during the event and have the answers broadcast to all participants. Because the webinar will discuss the mechanics of the new filing system, participants may benefit from also being logged into the online filing system, in a separate browser window, during the webinar.  For more information, please contact Suzanne Mendez at Suzanne.Mendez@fcc.gov or (202) 418-0941.

The first Form 477 webinar was held August 6, 2014.  More information on that event, including an archived recording, is available on the FCC’s website.

The new Form 477 filing interface began accepting filings of data as of June 30, 2014 on July 31, 2014.  These filings are due October 1, 2014. Interested parties can learn more about the updated Form 477 on the Form 477 Resources page and Changes to Form 477.  For additional information on this proceeding, contact Chelsea Fallon, Ken Lynch, or Ellen Burton of the Industry Analysis and Technology Division, Wireline Competition Bureau, (202) 418-0940, (202) 418-0484 (TTY).
