The Version 2.0 system is functioning properly from the primary server.  However, the secondary server for version 2 will experience difficulty with some ULS specific queries such as Pending File Number and Parent/Child.  Please use the primary location for General Menu Reports 2.0.

Latitude/Longitude searches on the ULS database can be very slow to respond.  The amount of time that the query can take is directly proportional to the amount of data which meets each of the criteria.  

For example, if you select a 70 mile radius search that includes many major metropolitan areas, the system will choke.  The problem is that there are so many records in the ULS database that even though every field is indexed and the server is very robust, the raw volume of data that is accessed is too much for the server to handle.

The best way to access the data is to try to narrow down the location as much as possible.  If you need a 70 mile radius, (140 mile square) try running four queries instead each with a 70 mile square in four quadrants around the original center point.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.  However, we are currently working to performance tune these queries to the best of our abilities.  Thanks for your patience.

The master callsign list for the General Menu Reports is once again being updated on a daily basis.  All accessible records are now selectable by callsign.  The callsign list is updated every evening, so a callsign is not selectable until the day after it is submitted in the FCC Database.

The Callsign master list is currently not being updated.  The large number of callsigns that have been added to ULS in phase III has overloaded the callsign master list maintenance system.  This system updates the list of callsigns for Licenses that General Menu Reports can access every night.  A new updated system is expected to be in place by the end of next week, December 8.

The other master lists, Licensee, Frequency, Lat/Long, and State/County, are being updated on a nightly basis and are working fine.  If a callsign you are searching for does not report as existing in the callsign search, try another search suich as Licensee/St to get the data, it will be reportred.  

This will only affect callsigns added after November 28, 2000.
