Updating FCC Registration Number (FRN) Information in the Universal Licensing System (ULS)

This article provides information on updating your FCC Registration Number (FRN) information. To update your FRN information, you need to complete FCC Form 161. The easiest way to complete FCC Form 161 is online by following the steps below.

Note: Updating your FRN information does not update information in the FCC’s licensing systems such as the Universal Licensing System (ULS). If you need to update information about licenses, you need to access the specific licensing systems.

Steps to Updating FCC Registration Number (FRN) Information
  1. Go to the FCC Commission’s Registration System (CORES) and Click Update.
  2. Enter your FRN and Password and click Continue.
  3. Complete the registration information and click Submit.
