Question: What are the political boundaries for PCS licenses?

Answer: Basic Trading Areas (BTA) and Major Trading Areas (MTA) which are based on the Rand McNally 1992 Commercial Atlas & Marketing Guide, 123rd Edition, at pages 38-39. For a list of the counties which are in each BTA and MTA see Public Notice CW-94-02 September 22, 1994.


Question: Where can I find a list of the licensees for PCS Blocks A and B?

Answer: The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has a report on-line which has a list of the PCS licensees in Table 2. With most Web browsers you can search for "Table 2" to skip straight to the table.
