Centel merged with Sprint in 5/92. Central Telephone of Illinois continues as
an operating company under the Sprint Holding Company with one study area
jurisdiction: Illinois.

1997
Central Telephone Company of Illinois - Chicago Metro Section (a large portion
of study area CEIL) was sold to Ameritech in 10/97. Sprint still filed all
their required ARMIS reports for CEIL because it was still over the revenue
threshold.
