1990 - 1999



Sprint/United Telephone of the Northwest (UTNW) continues as an operating company under the Sprint holding company with study area jurisdictions Oregon (UTOR) and Washington (UTWA). Sprint/United Telephone of the Northwest had no changes since 1990. During 1990 through 1997, Sprint did not file the ARMIS Joint Cost (43-03) Report at the study area jurisdiction level as required by our rules, for these COSAs. Sprint filed the ARMIS 43-03 Report at the operating company level. Sprint's filing by study area of this report was required starting with 1998 data. However, the company was granted a limited waiver (DA 98-2609), and began reporting at study area level for 1999 data.

2000 - 2004



Sprint/United Telephone of the Northwest had no changes during this period.

2005



Sprint/United Telephone of the Northwest fell below the revenue threshold as of 12/31/2004. Therefore, they have discontinued filing the ARMIS Summary (43-01) and ARMIS Operating (43-08) Reports with the Commission.

 

 

2006

 

In 2006, following a 2004 merger between Sprint and Nextel, the Sprint local telephone companies were spun off to become Embarq Local Operating Companies, and the company was renamed United Telephone of the Northwest.

 

  

2007 - 2009

 

The company had no changes during this period.
