         RCN-BETG, LLC:  OPEN VIDEO SYSTEM CERTIFICATION
                VARIOUS MASSACHUSETTS COMMUNITIES


     Pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  76.1502, RCN-BETG, LLC ("RCN-BETG"), a joint venture between
Residential Communications Network of Massachusetts, Inc. ("RCN") and Boston Energy
Technology Group, Inc. ("BETG"), filed an application for Open Video System certification on
February 18, 1997.  RCN-BETG seeks certification to operate an Open Video System in the
following Massachusetts communities:  Acton, Arlington, Ashland, Bedford, Bellingham, Belmont,
Boston, Braintree, Brookline, Burlington, Cambridge, Canton, Carlisle, Chelsea, Concord, Dedham,
Dover, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Lexington, Lincoln, Maynard, Medfield, Medway,
Millis, Milton, Natick, Needham, Newton, Norfolk, Norwood, Quincy, Sharon, Sherborn,
Somerville, Stoneham, Sudbury, Walpole, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston,
Westwood, Winchester, Weymouth, and Woburn.  Comments are due to be filed with the Office of
the Secretary and the Office of the Bureau Chief, Cable Services Bureau on or before February 25,
