                                 DIGITAL BROADCASTING OVS FILES AN APPLICATION
               FOR OPEN VIDEO SYSTEM CERTIFICATION

     Pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  76.1502, Digital Broadcasting OVS of Santa Ana, California ("DBOVS"),
filed an application for Open Video System certification on August 15, 1997.  DBOVS was previously
certified to operate an open video system by order issued October 10, 1996 (DA 96-1703).  DBOVS is filing
this application for certification to reflect a change of ownership and to modify the proposed service area. 
Comments are due to be filed with the Office of the Secretary and the Office of the Bureau Chief, Cable
Services Bureau, on or before August 20, 1997.  DBOVS's application is available via the Internet:
