             WEDGEWOOD COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY FILES A REVISED
              APPLICATION FOR OPEN VIDEO SYSTEM CERTIFICATION

      Pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  76.1502, Wedgewood Communications Company of Chicago, Illinois
("Wedgewood"), filed a revised application for Open Video System certification on November 10, 1997. 
Wedgewood previously filed an application for certification on October 30, 1997 (Public Notice, DA 97-
2304), but certification was denied without prejudice to Wedgewood's right to file a revised application. 
Wedgewood Communications Co., DA 97-2355 (Cab. Serv. Bur., Nov. 7, 1997).

      Comments on the revised application are due to be filed with the Office of the Secretary and the
Office of the Bureau Chief, Cable Services Bureau, on or before November 14, 1997.  Comments must
be filed in accordance with the requirements set forth in 47 C.F.R.  1502(e).  Wedgewood's application
