September 3, 1999 FCC RELEASES INTERNATIONAL TRENDS REPORT The FCC has released Trends in the U.S. International Telecommunications Industry, a report that contains economic, financial, and operating statistics regarding international communications. The report consists of 26 statistical tables tracing trends in the U.S. international telecommunications industry. These tables contain international traffic, circuit, pricing and accounting rate information. The prior version of this report, released August 1998, contains extensive explanations of the tables, analysis of industry trends, a discussion of the graphs, and a technical appendix summarizing changes in filing requirements over time.
