On December 18, 1997, prior to the release of the Commission's public notice establishing procedures under section 214(e)(6), Fort Mojave Telecommunications, Inc., Gila River Telecommunications, Inc., San Carlos Telecommunications, Inc., and Tohono O'odham Utility Authority submitted a joint petition seeking designation as eligible telecommunications carriers. On January 28, 1998, the same companies filed a supplementary petition providing additional information pursuant to the procedures set forth by the Commission in its December 29, 1997 Public Notice. Consistent with the procedures set forth in such Public Notice, parties wishing to comment on these petitions are directed to file comments on or before February 9, 1998, to file reply comments on or before February 17, 1998, and to follow the procedures set forth below. Filing Requirements. All filings should reference: Fort Mojave Telecommunications, Inc., Gila River Telecommunications, Inc., San Carlos Telecommunications, Inc., and Tohono O'odham Utility Authority Petition for Designation as Eligible Telecommunications Carriers Pursuant to Section 214(e)(6) of the Communications Act, AAD/USB File No. 98-28. All interested parties should include the name of the filing party and the date of the filing on each page of their comments and reply comments. Parties should include a table of contents in all documents regardless of length and should indicate whether they are filing an electronic copy of a submission via the Internet or via diskette. Pleadings must comply with Commission rules.
