Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 98-475 Released: 3/9/97 Multiple Checks for One Application Effective March 9, 1998, the Commission will strictly enforce 47 C.F.R., Section 1.1110 3(b)(c), which states that only one payment instrument (check, bank draft or money order) will be accepted when filing a single application. Multiple payment instruments for a single application or filing will not be permitted. The only exception to this rule will be multiple money orders in payment of a fee for a single application where the fee amount required for the filing exceeds the maximum amount allowed for a money order established by the issuing agency, and the money order is the only practical method available for payment of the fee. Any application submitted on or after March 9, 1998, with multiple payment instruments for a single application as defined above will be returned as unprocessable to the applicant.
