On April 24, 1998, the International Bureau established May 11, 1998, and May 21, 1998, respectively, as the deadlines for filing responses and replies concerning Teledesic's application to modify its license to launch and operate a non-geostationary Fixed Satellite-Service system. On May 15, 1998, Teledesic requested an eleven day extension of time, until June 1, 1998, within which to reply to the responses filed. Teledesic asserts that this extension request is not opposed by any interested party, and would further the ultimate resolution of the technical questions that have been raised in this proceeding. 2. Teledesic's unopposed request is granted. We believe that an additional eleven days will allow Teledesic to address fully the technical issues raised in the filings. Further, we find that it is in the public interest to grant this extension of time so that a more comprehensive record is established in this proceeding. 3. This action is taken pursuant to the authority found in Sections 4(i) and 303 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i) 303; and pursuant to Sections 0.51, 0.261, 1.46 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.51, 0.261, 1.46. 4. Accordingly, Teledesic LLC's Request for Extension of Time is GRANTED and the deadline for filing replies in this proceeding is EXTENDED until June 1, 1998.
