               Notice of Ex Parte Presentations in
                      CC Docket No.  92-297

     Representatives of the International Bureau's Satellite and Radiocommunication Division
met with applicants for geostationary-orbit satellite systems in the 27.5-30.0/18.8-20.2 GHz
band ("Ka-band") on September 17, 1996 to discuss and resolve issues over conflicting orbital
location requests in the Ka-band.  

     Pursuant to the Note to Section 1.1204(b)(7) of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R.
 1.1204(b)(7), this Public Notice indicates that copies of the materials providing a basis for
discussion at this meeting will be made available for public inspection and will be included in
the record of the proceeding.
