Before the Commission for consideration is a petition for partial reconsideration filed on behalf of LifeTalk Broadcasting Association ("LifeTalk") of the Report and Order in this proceeding, 11 FCC Rcd 13933 (1996). The Report and Order allotted Channel 246A to Ukiah, California, as that community's fourth local commercial FM transmission service, rather than reserving Channel 246A for noncommercial educational use, as requested by LifeTalk. No comments in response to the petition for partial reconsideration were filed. 2. In its petition for partial reconsideration, while not disputing the allotment of Channel 246A to Ukiah, LifeTalk requested the Commission to reconsider its decision not to place a reservation thereon. LifeTalk subsequently filed a request to withdraw its petition for partial reconsideration which we will grant. 3. In light of the above, IT IS ORDERED, That the petition for partial reconsideration filed on behalf of LifeTalk Broadcasting Association IS HEREBY DISMISSED. 4.
