Pursuant to section 1.46 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  1.46, The Committee on Democratic Communications of the National Lawyers Guild ("National Lawyers Guild") has moved for a 60- day extension of the May 26, 1998 date for filing reply comments in the above-captioned proceeding. National Lawyers Guild maintains that the extension is necessary so that participating parties, which includes numerous individuals and groups that are unfamiliar with Commission procedures, will have adequate time to respond and provide the Commission with a complete record for its deliberations. For the reasons stated, we hereby grant National Lawyers Guild's motion for an extension of time in which to file comments in this proceeding. 2.
