     On March 7, 1997, the Mass Media Bureau placed on Public Notice the above-captioned
Form 316 applications requesting:  (1) Special Temporary Authority to transfer to a voting trustee
control of ITT Broadcasting Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITT Corporation and holder
of a 50% general partnership interest in the licensee of television station WBIS, New York, New
York (File No. BTCCT-970304IA), and (2) consent to transfer control of ITT Broadcasting
Corporation from the current board of directors of ITT Corporation to a slate of nominees to such
board proposed by Hilton Hotels Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary, HLT Corporation
(File No. BTCCT-970304IC).  The parties have agreed that consolidated comments on or
oppositions to the above-captioned Form 316 applications are to be filed on or before March 17,
1997, and that responses to any comments or oppositions are to be filed on or before March 21,
1997.
