On 1/16/98, 2/10/98, 2/11/98 and 4/20/98, the above listed applications,
proposing to construct and operate ITFS facilities to serve Rockingham, North
Carolina were amended. The amendments propose changes in polarization and
antenna type. While amendments of this nature constitute a major change and
require the assignment of new file numbers, the subject amendments were filed
to accommodate a settlement agreement among applicants that have previously
achieved cut-off status. Consequently, the cut-off rules are waived for the
amended applications, and no competing applications may be filed. See, ITFS
Second Report and Order in MM Docket No. 83-523, 59 RR 2d 1355, 1381 fn.47
(1986). Petitions to deny against these applications may be filed with the
Commission no later than the close of business on May 29, 1998.
