NEWS December 10, 1997 ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE EDWARD LUTON TO RETIRE FCC Administrative Law Judge Edward Luton will retire on January 2, 1998, after more than 35 years of government service. Judge Luton has been an Administrative Law Judge at the Commission since May 30, 1979. He has heard and decided a wide range of Commission cases. In addition he has handled cases for the U.S. Customs Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Prior to joining the Commission, Judge Luton served in various capacities at the Federal Aviation Administration and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Upon retirement, Judge Luton and his wife, Evanette, expect to continue residing in Rockville, MD. -FCC -
