FCC TO HOLD OPEN COMMISSION MEETING

SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Memorandum Opinion and Order concerning applications for approval to transfer control of licenses and lines.



2 CABLE SERVICES TITLE: Implementation of the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992 (CS Docket No. 98-82); Implementation of Cable Act Reform Provisions of the Telecommunications Act of 1996; and Review of the Commission's Cable Attribution Rules (CS Docket No. 96-85).

SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Report and Order concerning the cable attribution rules.



3 CABLE SERVICES TITLE: Implementation of Section 11(c) of the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992; and Horizontal Ownership Limits (MM Docket No. 92-264).

SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Third Report and Order concerning cable horizontal ownership limits.

TITLE: Local Competition and Broadband Reporting.

SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing to collect data about the development of local telephone service competition and the deployment of broadband services from telecommunications carriers and others.
