                             ORDER


    Adopted:  June 23, 1997Released:  June 23, 1997

By the Chief, Commercial Wireless Division:
                                
     1.  On September 13, 1995, Radio Communications Specialists, Inc. (RCS) filed a request
for dismissal of Donald F. Inks, Jr.'s (Inks) above-captioned application.  Subsequently, Inks failed
to respond to the Commercial Wireless Division's Narrowband Branch request for additional
information on the application.  As a result, on its own motion, the Narrowband Branch dismissed
Inks' application by Public Notice, rendering RCS' petition moot.

     2.  Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that pursuant to authority delegated by Sections 4(i) and
309(d) of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154(i) and 309(d), authority delegated
by Section 0.331 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.331, and pursuant to Section 22.130 of
the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  22.130, the petition to dismiss filed by Radio Communications
Specialists, Inc. on September 13, 1995, IS DISMISSED as moot.
