                                  ERRAT               UM TO PUBLIC NOTICE, DA 97-700, 
ANNOU        NCING QUALIFIED BIDDERS IN THE APRIL 15, 1997, 
WIREL          ESS COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE ("WCS") AUCTION

                                  
                                       This Public Notice makes two minor corrections to the Public Notice (DA 97-700)
released April 8, 1997, identifying the applicants who were found qualified to bid in the
auction for 128 licenses to provide Wireless Communications Service ("WCS") in the 2305-
2320 MHz and 2345-2360 MHz bands, scheduled to begin April 15, 1997.  Specifically, the
April 8, 1997 Public Notice is corrected in two respects.

     (1)  The applicant Rig Telephones, Inc., DBA DATACOM, FCC Account Number
0720826933, is added to the list of qualified bidders for the WCS auction.  Rig Telephones,
Inc., was inadvertently omitted from the list of qualified bidders.  This applicant filed a
timely short-form application (FCC Form 175) that was accepted for filing and made a
timely deposit of an upfront payment in the amount of $15,000, creating a maximum
eligibility of 750,000 bid-units, and qualifying it to participate in the WCS auction.  Rig
Telephones, Inc. listed the following licenses on which it may bid:

        ME52         B
        RE12         C
        RE12         D


     (2)  The amount of the upfront payment submitted by Pacific Triangle
Communications, FCC Account Number 6097996563, was recorded incorrectly, resulting in
an inaccurate statement of Pacific Triangle Communications's maximum eligibility.  The upfront payment amount and maximum eligibility for Pacific Triangle Communications is
corrected as specified below:

     In addition, bidders that may have downloaded Public Notice DA 97-700 from the
Internet should note that in Attachment A, a dollar sign was inadvertently placed before all
entries in the Maximum Eligibility (Bid - Units) column.
