Washington, D.C. 20554 Release Date: October 2, 1997 Electronic Filing Available for Wireless Telecommunications Bureau License Renewal Applications The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has consolidated eight renewal forms into one consolidated renewal form, the Application for Electronic Renewal of Wireless Radio Services Authorizations, FCC Form 900. The FCC Form 900 was developed as an interim measure to allow all Wireless Bureau licensees the ability to renew their licenses electronically. Electronic filing is available on the WTB Electronic Commerce page on the Internet at http://www.fcc.gov/wtb/electcom.html (click on Production Page for Electronic Commerce Applications to access the Form 900). Filing instructions are available by clicking on the item number on the Internet form. Applications that have been filed using the electronic renewal process can be queried by clicking on Electronic Renewal Query at the same location. Only licensees who have licenses that are in the renewal window (within 120 days of expiration) will be able to access their call sign and submit a renewal application. The electronic FCC Form 900 cannot be used to file for a renewal if the license is expired. FCC Form 900 may only be submitted electronically. No FCC Form 900 paper applications will be accepted. Once you have successfully submitted FCC Form 900, it is important to click on the Continue button to obtain the fee information pertaining to your filing. The screen will prompt you with a Fee Remittance Advice, FCC Form 159, that you must complete, print and mail along with the appropriate fee to Federal Communications Commission, P. O. Box 358994, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-5994. The FCC Form 159 and fee must be received within ten (10) days of the submission of your application or your application will be dismissed.
