COMMISSIONER ABERNATHY OFFICIALLY APPOINTS MONAHAN, PRICE
AND TRAMONT TO HER STAFF

I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Ann Monahan, Tjuana Price and Bryan Tramont to my staff as Confidential Assistant, Staff Assistant and Senior Legal Advisor, respectively. I feel very fortunate to have assembled such a strong team in these positions. I look forward to rounding out my permanent staff in the next few weeks.

As my Confidential Assistant, Ann Monahan draws on her rich experience in and out of the communications field to coordinate my personal schedule and travel arrangements. Most recently, Ms. Monahan was Manager of the Legal and Government Affairs and Real Estate Administration departments of Broadband Office, Inc. Prior to that, among other things, she held Staff Assistant posts with US West, Inc. and the Episcopal High School of Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Monahan received her Bachelor Degree from Trinity College, and an MBA from Marymount University. She can be reached at (202) 418-2535.

Tjuana Price comes aboard as Staff Assistant for my office. Among her responsibilities, Ms. Price serves as the primary scheduler and travel officer for my Legal Advisors. She recently held the same position with FCC Commissioner Susan Ness. Prior to that, Ms. Price served as the Executive Receptionist for the FCC's eighth floor, as well as many other positions outside of government. Ms. Price received her degree from Georgetown Secretarial College. She can be reached at (202) 418-2200.

Bryan Tramont joins my staff as Senior Legal Advisor. In addition to those responsibilities, Mr. Tramont advises me on wireless, international, technology and enforcement issues and will serve as press liaison for my office. Before joining my staff, Mr. Tramont served as Legal Advisor and then Senior Legal Advisor to Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth. Prior to that, Mr. Tramont was an attorney at the law firm of Wiley Rein and Fielding. He also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Duane Benton on his home state of Missouri's Supreme Court. He is currently an adjunct law professor at The Catholic University of America, and Co-Chair of the Wireless Committee of the Federal Communications Bar Association. Mr. Tramont is a graduate of the George Washington University and the Yale Law School. He can be reached at (202) 418-2534.
