THREE CABLE OPERATORS ORDERED TO PROVIDE
REFUNDS TOTALING ABOUT $500 THOUSAND
     The Cable Services Bureau of the Federal
Communications Commission today issued 11 orders
resolving 36 cable service rate complaints filed by
consumers and local franchising authorities against cable
operators.  In three of the 11 cases, consumer refunds were
ordered, totalling approximately $500,000.  The refunds
were ordered in Nashville, TN,  (Viacom), Goodlettsville,
TN (Viacom), and Baltimore County, MD (Comcast
Cablevision).  The orders resolve these complaints and
cover rates in effect prior to May 15, 1994.

STATE OF ARIZONA.  Granted the waiver request by the
Arizona Department of Corrections seeking relief from the
frequency coordination requirements with respect to license
applications filed in order to modernize its communications
