MEDIA GENERAL CABLE OF FAIRFAX COUNTY,
INC.  Denied Media General's appeal of an Emergency
Ordinance, which was adopted by Fairfax County, VA;
dismissed as moot Media General's request for stay of the
Emergency Ordinance pending resolution of its appeal.  (By
Consolidated Order [DA 95-201] adopted February 9 by the
Chief, Cable Services Bureau)

SAMMONS COMMUNICATIONS, INC.   Ordered that
Sammons'  appeal of the City of Burbank's local rate order
and its appeal of the City of Glendale's local rate order,
regarding the issue of Sammons's permitted charges for
certain equipment and installation provided by Sammons and
related refunds are remanded to the respective local
franchising authorities for resolution in accordance with the
terms of this Consolidated Order; denied Sammons' appeal
regarding its regulated hourly service charge in the City of
Glendale and the City of Burbank; vacated each  of the
Commission's stays of the local rate orders which were
granted pending the resolution of these appeals.   (By

CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION OF WESTERN NEW
ENGLAND, INC.    Ordered that the appeal filed by
Continental is remanded to the Connecticut Department of
Public Utility Control for resolution.  (By Order [DA 95-

Bureau)

NEWCHANNELS CORPORATION.   Denied, in part, the
complaints against the cable programming service price
charged by NewChannels in Malone, NY; ordered  the
benchmark filing submitted by NewChannels  for the period
of January 4, 1994 to May 14, 1994, justifies a maximum
price of $11.07 per month (plus franchise fee) for
NewChannels' cable programming service tier.  (By MO&O
[DA 95-206] adopted February 8 by the Chief, Cable
Services Bureau)

NEWCHANNELS CORPORATION.   Denied, in part,  the
complaints against the cable programming service price
charged by NewChannels in Ogdensburg, NY; ordered that
the benchmark filing submitted by NewChannels  for the
period of January 4, 1994 to May 14, 1994, justifies a
maximum price of $11.80 per month (plus franchise fee) for
NewChannels's cable programming service tier.  (By

NEWCHANNELS CORPORATION.   Denied, in part, the
complaints against the cable programming service price
charged  by NewChannels in Oneonta, NY; ordered that the

of  January 4, 1994 to May 14, 1994, justifies a maximum
price of $10.18 per month (plus franchise fee) for
NewChannels'  cable programming service tier.  (By

HOME AND GARDEN TELEVISION NETWORK
(HGTV).   Responded the HGTV's request for clarification
of the new "going forward" rules as they  relate to new

FCC'S FORFEITURE POLICY STATEMENT.  Issued a
Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking on the  Forfeiture
Policy Statement.  Comments are due March 27, replies

adopted January 13 by the Commission)







AT&T COMMUNICATIONS V. MCI
TELECOMMUNICATION CORPORATION.   Denied
MCI reconsideration  of the Commission's finding that MCI
violated Section 203 of the Communications Act as
interpreted by the court in AT&T v. FCC.  (By Order on
Reconsideration [FCC 94-353] adopted December 28 by the
Commission)

TCI CABLEVISION OF THE HEARTLANDS, INC.  
Ordered that TCI's appeal of the City of Dallas Center's
local rate order is remanded to the local franchising
authority for resolution in accordance with the terms of  this

rates set forth in Bell Atlantic's Tariff FCC No. 1,
Transmittal No. 704 to revise price cap indices and rates to
recover amounts associated with Bell Atlantic's
implementation of Statement of Financial Accounting
Standard 112, "Standards for Employers" Accounting for
Postemployment Benefits  (SFAS-112).  (CC Docket No.
94-139 by MO&O Suspending Rates [DA 95-193] adopted
February 9 by the Acting Chief, Tariff Division, Common
Carrier Bureau)

ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION OF REGULATORY
FEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995.   Denied  the Personal
Communications Industry Association's motion for an
extension of time to file comments  and replies in the matter
of assessment and collection of regulatory fees for fiscal
year 1995.  (MD Docket No. 95-3 by Order [DA 95-186]

FIRST CONFIDENTIALITY ORDER.   Issued various
decisions regarding the Wireless Telecommunications
Bureau's First Confidentiality Order that determined the
